Information
What to Expect:
- Common problems seen in patients: gastritis, headaches, asthma, diabetes, and hypertension
- Children are also seen for regular exams and minor problems, such as coughs and colds, scabies, tinea corporis, and occasional neurological problems such as seizures
- Equipment for urinalyses and accuchecks are available
- Prescriptions are filled at the clinic based on the medications available
- Translator is assigned if needed
- A student will be assigned to shadow you and will bring the patients to you
- We do stress education for both the patients and students; group teaching and case presentations are encouraged
- You may also be asked to supervise a medical student if needed
- Must be dedicated to a full day (6am-10pm approx.) of participation
- Approx. 3 hour drive from CSUF/UCR to Clinic
- Dinner at a San Diego restaurant
Fees:
- $25 per year

-Passport (Required if you wish to return to the U.S.)
